Those of you who have completed MATH 115 and no longer wish to receive group messages can unsubscribe by clicking the link on the bottom of every group message (including this one). This group's member list is not moderated. Each of you who is receiving this message joined the group on your own so it is appropriately your responsibility to leave the group if you choose to. The benefit to group membership is having access to the course syllabus from your semester. A copy might be needed if you transfer to another college. Because of this, you might choose to edit your membership so you remain a group member but no longer receive group messages.

Fall 2011 students, hopefully all of you are ready with their textbooks and calculators. Be sure to read through the syllabus carefully since there are a few changes to this semester's course procedures. The most notable change is the exclusive use of Laulima for the weekly graded problems and exams. The course Yahoo group will still be used for announcements so if you check some "other" email account more often than your hawaii.edu account, be sure to sign up for the Yahoo group and have messages sent to your favorite email account to make sure you don't miss out on any announcements (including an extra credit opportunity that I am promising for later in the semester). The course Yahoo group is also an important resource for "later," if you need a copy of the syllabus to send to a new college if you transfer.
