- Nov 27, 2008I think part of the reason that people dont understand them and keep
putting them down for not getting married is cause they are so
unbelievably different then any other couple that has been on this
show, Byron used the term "Life Partner" a lot more then "Wife" on the
show. In my opinion you do not have to have a wedding or a piece of
paper to say you love each other. I have a friend who has been with
his "Wife" for I dont know how long now, they are not legally married
but their relationship is just as stable if not more so then the other
couples in my life that are married, in the end its really their
decision weather they marry or not, not matter what in the end they
are the longest lasting couple from the Bachelor (I know there is
Trista and Ryan to but I put them in the Bachelorette category) so
yeah.>
