Jesse Farner
It has been reported on Facebook and I received an e-mail from a source saying that Jesse Farner, Mark's youngest son has passed away after 8 years being a quadriplegic and living on life support most of that time. If this is true, I send my heart felt prayers and condolences to Mark & Lesia, who all and all, deserved a better break than this. I don't know of any two people more gracious to the public than these folks have been to me and to the rest......God be with you, Farner familyCrash Test Chris- Yes I saw that too, Chris. My heart goes out to the Farner family. But I'm glad Jesse isn't broken anymore. Someday Mark and his family will all be together in God's Kingdom. Until that time I will pray God grants the family the peace and comfort of His everlasting Grace.RandySent from BlueMailOn Jul 5, 2018, at 5:43 PM, "HCRRock@... Whenever I think of Mark and Lesia, I automatically think of a Father and Mother who devote every breath of air, every second of their day to their youngest Son, Jessie. I hope in time they both know they did everything they could do to make Jessie comfortable. Mark and Lesia, please know my heart goes out to you both along with Joseph, Jason and Adam and I promise to pray you find comfort knowing how much Jessie knew what he meant to you all!
This sucks!

After seeing what was posted on Mark's website today, the best thing to do would be to make a contribution to a charity of our choice, and this is in keeping with the wishes posted in the announcement on Mark's website. I guess a lot of people have been asking, and that is what their wishes are.
I talked to Greg tonight when I got home, and what we are going to do, since we live in a small town with a wonderful volunteer fire department, that is where we will send a contribution in memory of Jessie. If the fire department sends us a letter, we will make a copy of it, and bring it to Mark at the next show we see. That is a wise husband I have; I let him decide where to send our contribution.
We also have some cool events happening here the next couple of weeks; the Moving Wall, which is a replica of the Vietnam Veterans memorial wall, as well as the vintage WWII planes (one of them is a B-29!) at an airshow this coming weekend, so we will probably put a couple of bucks in each of their jars.
So that is how we are going pay that card on our end.
How does that sound?
Hope everyone is doing well.

Subject: Re: [markfarnersrailroad] Jesse FarnerOK, here's how I see it tonight.

I'm not on FB so thank you for posting this sad news though I would have learned of this tragedy sooner rather than later....you guys rock! Even though Brother Mark needs to stay busy, and keep his mind busy so he has less time to think of Jesse, I feel he should take the rest of the year off and be at home. I really wonder how Mark could even start to focus while performing. He has a show the 11th along with a dozen more this summer and fall.... If I were him, I would chill and hit the stage next spring.
