help puppy mill puppies
- MALTESE PUPPY-MILL PUPPIES DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Over 200 dogs and a few cats, 30 of which were pregnant, were seized
recently from a breeder in Tennessee. EVERY dog seized had something
wrong with it. They were three and four in a cage piled high in her
garage, and they had never seen the light of day. Many of the bitches
had had multiple C-sections, with severe scar tissue infiltrating
their reproductive organs. Three puppies and one adult dog have since
died; many of the adult dogs are so old they will not live long enough
to get a loving home. This breeder sold people sick and dying dogs,
using the same deceptive practices over and over again. The living
conditions in the breeder's home were so deplorable, according to a
local judge, her four children, including a severely handicapped
child, were removed from her home, yet to be returned. Around 8 state
and local agencies are involved in investigating this breeder. Around
20 names were used to register dogs with the AKC to avoid detection of
her systematic abuse of these poor animals. We believe state and
local taxes were not paid for several years at least. There were`
possibly hundreds of puppies sold by this one breeder on several
websites every year. She only had one or two people helping her with
over 200 dogs at any one time, if that.
THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THIS BREEDER MAY GET HER DOGS BACK!!!!!
HOW CAN YOU HELP? Go to
and read the now 18 pages of the message board thread "Maltese puppy
mill raided" as well as
to read the top three threads concerning the criminal investigation of
this breeder. Then, PLEASE CALL ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO MAY HAVE
PURCHASED A MALTESE DOG FROM A BREEDER. If the purchase was from the
breeder involved, their damages may help bring the investigation to a
monetary level that will help prevent her from getting her dogs and
perhaps her children back. Then, please send e-mail messages to the
news agencies that have been mentioned in the thread, so we can get
national attention for this story. We want to stop the puppy mill
business for all breeds, not just Maltese. By making a national
example not only of this breeder, but of the effort that all
dog-lovers will make to put puppy mills out of business, we will put
these disreputable people on notice that their practices will not be
tolerated by our society.
You will also read about the mammoth effort of the local shelter
workers and the volunteers in Tennessee. Many corporations have
donated services. Thousands of dollars have been donated to the
rescue effort, and thousands of hours of volunteer time have
contributed to the rebirth of these neglected animals.
WE THANK YOU FOR ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO HELP THESE ANIMALS. If you
ever need the assistance of the Maltese community, please know that
you will have our full support.
