      The power down usual manner would be to turn off the TEC (Thermoelectric
      cooler) first and wait a few minutes. Since the MallinCam is a mild cooler and has
      very unique properties, unplugging the camera anytime won't cause any damages.

      Plugging the MallinCam, you may want to turn on the TEC as soon the camera
      is connected. Only apply the TEC on deep sky objects. It is not necessary to have
      the TEC for lunar, planets and solar (with proper filter).
