      Sholom.

I think members of your group would be interested to know that Feldheim has published a new edition of the Ibn Tibbon translation of Moreh Nevuchim.

I looked at the ad. Thank you for bringing this to our attention! What I would like to know is what contents are included, in detail. I like that they have some indexes, and I’m curious to know who did those or where they got them from. Also whether they attempted to type set any of the ancient commentaries, like Shem Tov, Efodi, etc., all of which could do with a fresh type set (not to mention the fresh eyes of an observant editor).

If you are planning to buy this (the price looks excellent) would you do a little book note on it to let us know what you have and what you think of it? A paragraph or two would be great. I know I would appreciate that and I think everyone else would too.

      Sincerely,

My other question is whether, when it says that the edition is “punctuated” my inclination was to expect that it had periods, commas, exclamation points, etc.

But is it too much to hope that they actually went to the trouble of vocalizing it?

      Scott

PS: I have had no further responses from Mr. Plaut.
