      Hello Salvador,

      Check this Html page sample; it uses JavaScript to implement tooltips on
      combo boxes.

      <HTML>
      <HEAD>
      <SCRIPT language=JavaScript>
      <!--
      showHideTooltip = function () {
      var obj = event.srcElement;
      with(document.getElementById("tooltip")) {
      innerHTML = obj.title;
      with(style) {
      if(event.type == "mouseleave") {
      display = "none";
      } else {

      display = "inline";
      left = event.x;
      top = event.y;

      }
      }
      }
      }

        Sorry, my previous message was for BL, not for Salvador...

        Besides that, I forgot to mention that you can set the tooltip value
        dynamically from the BC task by using an evaluate operation like the
        following:

        Evaluate CallJS('my_combo_box.title="My_Dynamic_Tooltip_Value"')=''

          Hello Salvador,

          This is a "normal" IE behaviour. In fact, when you close the last IE window,
          the size of this window is stored somewhere.

          Therefore all new IE windows will open with the size of the last closed IE
          window.

          In order to fix that you can close all IE windows, open a new one, resize it
          to your will and close it.

          On the other hand, you can also work in full screen mode, and in this case
          you can hit F11 when your IE window is open.

          Note that you can right click on the buttons bar and check the setting hide
          automatically (in order to show/hide the status bar you must check/uncheck
          the corresponding option in the View menu).

          The advantage of working in full screen mode is that you have more space for
          your task controls.

          Even more, there is a command line option in IE which allows you to work in
          "kiosk" mode.

          Check the following command line (create a shortcut or just Start/Execute)
          iexplore -k http://google.com

          It prevents users from clicking away to irrelevant sites. In this mode there
          are no toolbars, and only one screen.

          The only way users can navigate is by using links present on the screen (no
          typing in URLs). Use Alt-Tab if you need to switch to another program, and
          use Alt-F4 to close the window when you're finished.

          Hope this helps,

          Best regards,

          Emanuel Vitan

          Objet : [magicu-l] Web Application BC (Browsers are opening small)

          Hi groups,
          (BC and magic 9.4)

          Some screens in my web application are opening hiding table's fields (Small
          screens) but I really don't know what happened because before the browsers
          was opening well and suddenly it changed. they are open like if I customized
          the screens but I am not specifying any screen's dimension. I have to
          maximize it for me to work. can somebody tell me what happened?

          Best Regard

          Salvador Martinez
