just a thought. can you check the snubber diode accross the relay circuit - that powers your spindle? make sure its not open circuit etc. it may be a back emf

I use a paint brush and chainsaw oil. It's thick and stays where you put it. so you really don't need to apply much at all. So a paint brush works well for

I believe that would be "barking up the wrong tree" Dogs generally do not bark at the tree, rather what has run up the tree. At least that is what my dog does.
