      stick, so I am not convinced it is entirely USB related.

      ... Maybe not your problem. But I had a video card failure on my VMC fairly recently. I changed it for another one I had on the shelf, it was hopeless.

        Maybe not your problem. But I had a video card failure on my VMC
        fairly recently. I changed it for another one I had on the shelf, it
        was hopeless. Original was AGP I put in a PCI card and the replacement
        worked BUT even jogging would suffer a regular bump in the pulse train.
