- Bank Street Arts is pleased to announce an open call out for artists and
designers working in drawing and illustration for its Juniper Gallery.
The Juniper Gallery is Bank Street's newest exhibition space
specifically designed as a commercial selling gallery to act as a
platform for showcasing new work and supporting artists. It is ideally
situated at the heart of the Centre, surrounded by a busy café,
reading area and workshop spaces, offering an accessible and welcoming
environment for displaying art.
The new exhibition programme for the Juniper Gallery has been conceived
to champion and promote some of the most innovative and experimental
artists, designers and crafts people from within the region and beyond.
The Juniper Gallery aims to be accessible and affordable for artists and
purchasers alike, offering artworks for sale at low commissioning rates.
Focusing primarily on works on paper, the exhibition programme will be
dedicated to thematic group shows of artists working in specific media.
Bank Street has chosen to launch this new programme with an exhibition
of drawing and illustration, and would like to invite any artist working
in this medium to submit their work.
We hope to showcase some of the best artists working in the UK today and
are no limitations on who can apply.Simply send a maximum of four

16thAugust 2011 for a three month exhibiting period beginning
If your work is selected for the exhibition it will be presented in this
unique gallery space, subject to a low commissioning rate of 35%.
However if you are already a member of Bank Street,the commissioning fee
will be reduced to 30%. (You can become a member of Bank Street Arts for
