The Art Coordinator at QEGS Junior School in Wakefield is interested in hearing from any artists or crafts people who would be able to come into the school and provide a series of talks and or workshops for their three Year 6 classes with a total of 72, ten and eleven year old boys. They would like the work to relate to their Spring Term project `What a Performance' - details of which can be found on the QCA KS2 Art website. As the Junior School Drama coordinator they would be particularly interested in anyone who can offer ideas that combine art with drama. The boys will be performing a version of Treasure Island in the summer term. Art workshops might include costume and different make ups, for example.
