      Bookbinding and Artists Books workshop

      This
practical workshop will cover various bookbinding techniques, including
how to create Hardbound books, Concertina books and Japanese stab
binding. I will have a selection of Artist’s books on display, and will
discuss the conceptual elements of my practise as well as showing
      examples of other artist’s work.

      All
materials will be provided, however participants are welcome to bring
any materials or ideas they would like to use to create there own
Artist’s books; such as recycled paper or collage material. At the end
of the workshop, each participant will have created a selection of
books that can be taken home. A handout detailing the techniques learnt
will also be provided for future reference.

Workshops will take place at the Loft Studio, which is situated in a former Auction House above Red bar in Wakefield.
