- Feb 15, 2008I got the DVD. I really enjoyed it. I always wish the movies were
more like the books. I wasn't too diappointed in this adaptation.
Lucas did an excellent job as Vernon. Both characters of Wesley and
Vernon were very much like the characters written in the book.
I loved the music! Excellent DVD. You should at least rent it and
check it out. It is also worth the purchase if you like: The Blues,
Lucas Black, Great movies that don't get publicity because they simply
have a good story and aren't full of violence and sex.
