      FROG

      SYMBOLOGY: feminine energy, creation fecundity

      The frog is a creature of the water and ahs been associated with new life. In Egypt, they were placed on mummies to facilitate rebirth. The abundance of frogs at the time of the annual Nile flood also associated them with fecundity. In South America, the Orinoco people considered the frog to be lord over water – a feminine symbol – and did not kill them. Among native American peoples of North America, the frog ahs been associated with the moon, which is also a feminine symbol. One story tells of a frog jumping into the moon, where it rules for eternity.

      NB: fecundity according to the Australian Macquarie Dictionary means;

      1. the quality of being fecund; the capacity, esp. in female animals, of producing young in great numbers

      2.fruitfulness or fertility, as of the earth

      3. capacity of abundant production: fecundity of imagination

      The Circle of Life is charged with coincidences of the moment. To follow your heart in recognizing the power of chance, invites the energy of the subconscious mind to create a new reality.
