Couple of poems by Kathy Griffin
- Morning to everyone. Welcome new members, too.
A friend shared some of her poetry, written 1990.
Here are a couple of my favorites.
Songs of Living
To sing the songs of living now
you must go out and see.
To give the songs of loving now
you choose with whom you'll be.
The songs will not come easy,
as you soon will know.
The words will never seem to come
until the love just flows.
You really must have feeling
to get the message right.
You really must be loving
to fly the golden flight.
In order to be happy,
I need to have a goal.
I need a path to follow-
a path with lots of soul.
A path that leads to people
and wonderful things to see,
A path that leads to freedom-
freedom to be me.
In the words of my grandson, Tallinn, "Ah-wadi", which we have
interpretted as both a greeting and a farewell, similar to aloha.
Ah-Wadi & Have a joyous day.
Would someone volunteer to be list moderator for one week? I am
flying across country at 6:30 am PDT Tuesday, and will be back
following Tuesday after midnight.
