To enter the spirit-mode takes courage. You have to dedicate your life to yourself. This is not an ego-centric view, more of an act of prayer unto yourself.

"To enter the spirit-mode takes courage. You have to dedicate your life
to yourself. This is not an ego-centric view, more of an act of prayer
unto yourself. It does not make you more important than the world you
live in, you just *become* the world you live in. It forces you to feel
settled when there is no logical reason to be so. It causes you to ride
as companion to uncertainty. It demands that you walk alone and be your
own judge. You become your own advisor and teacher because there is no
one who knows more abouty our life than you do. It allows you to evaluate
mass consciousness in the light of your needs so that you are not rushed
along mindlessly by the fads of the day."
