Aloha Kakou.. . . I am so glad that someone has taken this up as an issue.  Those of us who live surrounded by the wonder and beauty of these magnificent keepers of the earth's heartbeat, know an entirely different side of their 'nature'.  Hopefully Tilikum's behavior and unfortunate death of his trainer will end in a release from captivity of all his relations.  Attempts were made in Hawaii in the past to use dolphins in captivity as 'show' animals at resort areas and public opinion ended that possibility.  Please sign petition and pass along.  Mahalo!  Lovingly )'( Skye

To: The 722,070 signers of End the Brutal Killing of More Than 20,000 Dolphins Every Year in Japan OUTRAGEOUS! SeaWorld is blaming the victim -- their trainer who let her ponytail swing into the water -- while the real negligence lies with them. They knew the whale Tilicum had a history of attacks against people, but they chose profit over the safety of whales and people. It is time for a federal investigation of their actions, and time to force them to return orcas to the wild and stop the cover-up. We know this can be done, because we have done it with Keiko, the whale from Free Willy. As Ric O’Barry states well in The Cove, “Don’t Buy A Ticket”!
