Hello everyone yet again
Because I have not yet done a search for stationery
because I cannot remember the extensions to search for (I know, I need
to get into one of my Stationery Heaven files to find the extensions I
need to use), I seem to have lost the stationery I wanted to use today
for this message -- a woman preparing a meal for her family.
Since the daily word for today is 'Welcome,' this was the nearest
thing to a welcome I could find in my stat files
First of all, though, let me share with all of you
the Affirmations for October since today is the first of the month,
and they are:
"Inner Peace: I am a child of God,
enfolded in perfect love and peace.
inspiration of Spirit leads me to new ideas and right
body is a temple of God's healing life. I am healthy and
am open and receptive to the goodness of God and am prospered in all
that I do."
Now for today's message.
I said earlier, the daily word for today is: "Welcome," and the
daily thought for today is: "With an open and loving heart, I
welcome others into my life."
And the rest of the message for today
"What a joyful experience it is for me to welcome a
beloved family member or friend. We have much to share and
celebrate as we catch up with what has happened in our lives in a day,
a month or over years.
"It is also a joy to welcome new people into my
circle of friends and family. We, too, have much to share and
celebrate as we work together to build new
"In an awareness of our oneness of Spirit, I
naturally welcome others. With my heartfelt welcome, I am
saying, "The Christ within me greets the Christ within you."
Whether I am becoming reacquainted with others or meeting them for the
first time, I welcome them and the enrichment they bring to my
"'When Jesus cam to the place, he looked up and
said to him, 'Zacchaeus, hurry and come down; for I must stay at your
house today.' So he hurried down and was happy to welcome
him.' --- Luke 19:5-6
One of the greatest joys I get at the two churches
I attend (when I have a way to get to either of them) is the fact that
they have greeters at the door who heartily
welcome and give a big old hug to each person
as they enter the sanctuary. I love that idea because I love the
way people in the South are taught to welcome people into their
churches, into their homes and even into their lives -- in an open and
receptive manner and with a great big hug. When my time
comes to leave this earthly plane, my hope is that I will be
welcomed on the other side (or on the other plane) in that same
to all of you reading this now, with an open, receptive and
loving heart, I welcome each of you into my life
Peace, love, light, harmony and angel
P.S. The midi I used for today is another Elvis
song -- again, one of my favorites --'Welcome to My World."
