    Sounds better... Is it still "optimizable" ? In terms of feedpoint impedance, of course ?
     
    Would a ferrite-based Z transfo be enough ? Isn't it too "lossy" ?

    ... Ferrite core loss can be nearly eliminated by using Fair-Rite Products 61 material with 125 permeability as described here:
