      Hi. There is no ground to a loop, its a loop, hard to explain but think of a O with a break gap at the bottom if you have a old tube radio there will be two antenna holds each open side goes in one hole same if you have a tranny the 3.5 jack lead or the 1/4  inch jack takes the two wires long pin and outer case into your radio, not much more to say apart you turn he loop in the direction of the wanted station, you can put a over wire in the middle of the loops turns to your radio input or just put the radio inside the loop or have it side ways on. hope this helps.
