      works amazing from 500 khz to 1600 khz but from 1600 - 1700 khz it
      just stops dead then it picks up again on the 160m ham band. i have 2
      loops same dimensions and both are the same. there is some usa etc
      stations i would like to receive from 1600 - 1700 so any ideas whats
      happening ???? thanks david h .... ayrshire scotland

        Would be possible to obtain a best signal with this antenna in passive mode ?

        May you have a photo of the balun you used ?
