- Want to encourage more walking, transit use and local
businesses in the neighborhood?
Want to get your hands dirty and meet each other
Logan Square Walks invites all our neighbors out to
help clean and beautify the land around the Blue Line
Logan Square station entrance:

9 am � 3 pm

Help make this hub of community activity even more
pleasant for all with...
NEW NATIVE PLANTS (design by Laurie Tanenbaum of
Grounds for Growth)
Volunteers will receive gardening coupons, lunch and
possibly more, all donated by our generous local
businesses. **Mixing between concurrent monument area
cleanup efforts will be inevitable and encouraged!!**
If you are able, please also bring:
� your own shovel, rake, hand trowel/spade, or
wheelbarrow to lend for the day
� your own liquid refreshments, or some to share
� a monetary donation to offset costs
� A hardy perennial to plant (in exchange for
instant membership in Logan Square Walks, normally $5)
