      NB:  Only for those who have received the Vajrayogini initiation and completed the retreat with fire puja. If you have received the Vajrayogini Initiation and not done the retreat, you are welcome to join us for the sadhana part of the practice.

       

      6 - 6.45pm  Extensive Light Offering

      The anniversary of Je Tsongkhapa's parinirvana, the founder of the gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, is usually commemorated with extensive light offerings. Come at 5.30pm to help set up the light offerings.  Bring christmas lights to offer. Join us!

       

      Lama Zopa Rinpoche says:

      By offering lights, we create the cause of enlightenment, of liberation from samsara, and of the happiness of future lives. Also, success will happen in this life. Even if you hate happiness in this life, it will still come by the way.  We should offer as many lights as possible to create the causes of enlightenment by offering the lights to Lama Tsongkhapa, the merit fields, and so forth. Therefore, use as many Christmas lights and candles as possible...

      8.30pm - Lama Chopa with Tsog Offering

      with Khensur Jampa Tegchog Rinpoche

      An extensive seven-limb practice combined with guru yoga directed to Lama Tsong Khapa as the central figure in the merit field.  You are welcome to bring offerings of flowers or food to share for the tsog offering - please bring delicious, healthy snacks, cookies or fruits!
