FW: [liturgy-l] Sequence for the Assumption

Subject: Re: FW: [liturgy-l] Sequence for the Assumption
I'm not aware of a Sequence specifically for the Assumption, since it
wasn't a dogma till 1950, and never HAD a sequence in the Missale
Romanum previously AFAIK.
I have most (if not all) of the Wantage Sarum Sequences, and there are
several for Our Lady, but most are for the Annunciation. I'll look, but
I'm almost SURE there isn't one.
He MIGHT check Franciscan, Trappist, or Carmelite sources, though ... I
don't know if I still have my Cistercian Graduale or not ... it was
pretty late, and pretty corrupt (chuckle).
