      I tried modprobe -a wlan0
and the result says in short: prism2_plx.o: init module: No such device and something about  invalid IO and IRQ parameters

Anyone know how i can fix this?

I just went back a re-read everything, and notice you are trying to use
wlan-ng - I should have paid better attention.  The Wirelss HOWTO seems
to indicate that WEP should be supported with version 0.8 firware and
the wlan-ng driver (which you probably already know).

Sorry I can't be more help, if all else fails try the Prism2 driver.
