      This is the EXACT same problem that I had with my I5000e.
       
      I fixed it by editing my XF86Config-4 file.
      You [should be able] to find it in /etc/X11/
       
      Try out this link link below for c800s, and modify your file accordingly
      (if you are not familiar with text editors, I would recommend
      typing 'emacs' at your shell, and then type: "<ctrl>-c" "<ctrl-f>" "TUTORIAL"
      (two separate key strokes, then a string of letters...)

      i have the same problem but on my c800 the only resolution that works is 1600x1200. 1400x1050 also not work and with 1024x768 the system crashes with a black screen. Also SaX2 cannot confige the card. I have done it manualy. I am using SuSE 7.2.

      I've got X working, but I can't seem to get it to run in 1400x1050.  It
      works in 1600x1200 with very small text;  it works in 1280x1024, but I
