Help me solve this problem so I can finally ditch Windows!!!
I have Mandriva 2005 (MDK 10.2) running on a Dell Latitude CPi.
I have a 3Com AirConnect 3CRWE77A (removed from the PLX bridge).
I know others have gotten it to work in Linux but everytime I try
to compile linux-wlan-ng I get an error.
      the error is...
      cp: cannot stat '/lib/modules/2.6.11-6mdk/build/Module.symvers'.
      no such file or directory.
      make[2]: ***[default] Error 1
      make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/jim/Linux-Wlan-ng-0.2.1-
      pre26/src/p80211'
      make[1]: ***[all] Error 2
      make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/jim/Linux-Wlan-ng-0.2.1-
      pre26/src/p80211'
      make: ***[all] Error 2
....Do any of you (smarter than me) people know what I should do?
      Thanks-
      Jim

For my system, /lib/modules/2.6.12.5/build/ points to
/usr/src/kernel-headers-2.6.12.5, but for Mandriva you probably need
to get the source and compile it unless there are RPMs for the
        kernel-headers.

Get the kernel source RPM from your CDs and compile it. You need not
install it, since it is already inistalled, but you need to compile it,
to prepare all the headers and stuff.

          See this guide:
          http://www.aerospacesoftware.com/kernel-compile-howto.html

          Cheers,

          H.
