      You can place your boot loader (I prefer lilo) onto
      your root partition, or onto a floppy, or, if you
      don't use Dell's spiffy little waste of hard drive
      space, toast that DOS partition and just put it in the
      MBR. I think there is a USENET group just for lilo,
      and of course, there are the HOWTOs at www.tldp.org
