have had my eye on a 20 gig USB 2.0 External Hard drive for a few weeks.
Its only 150 bucks. Really Nice too. I'd suggest something like that.

- I have a Latitude CPx running SuSE 8.2. I've been using a disk and 4mm
tape drive on another system, accessing them over the net, for external
storage and backups.
Well, both the disk and tape drive are 12 years old, and the tape drive
is starting to fail.
So I'm looking for recommendations for what to replace them with. This
time around, I'd prefer direct-attach (e.g., USB), rather than having to
access them via another host.
- I picked up a usb-to-IDE drive case on ebay for $35 (watch the shipping) and
then bought a 3.5" 60 gb harddrive and put in it. I now have a 60 gb usb
drive and it works great. Total cost was much than a usb specific external
