      Hello All,

I have copied the following XFree86 Config file to replace the one that SUSE creates.  But it does not work.  When I restart Linux, it starts up in character mode, I then type X to bring up Xwindows and I get the following message:

               "Initializing extension GLX
Could not init font path element unix/:7100, removing from list!

                Fatal server Error:
could not open default font 'fixed'"

Is the attached XFree86 Config file for only Red Hat or can it be used with other distributions?  I appreciate any help that I can get.

                                                       Thanks

        Hi Steve
Intel has clearly dragged their feet with linux Centrino support and
continue to so. The article you referenced gives no firm dates, indeed
it hints at continued delays in the title ("Intel mulls Linux Centrino
support"), so isn't really proof of their firm intentions to support us.
Anyway, it's a long time coming. Check the dates on these:

I've signed the petition and I think that anyone with an interest should
at least have a read of it.
        Regards
        Damien
