question about I8200 network card

      even when i plug the cable out, the network card has link light on.
      the other light that says there is network activity is also on. does
      this mean the card is broken?

      for a good card, both lights shud be off when i remove the network cable.
      right?

        Do you have a wlan card in the machine too? With mine, the status
        light near the ethernet post is green and the activity light flickers
        if the internal 802.11b card is working. In other words, the lights
        are used for both the nic and the wlan.
