      When posting to newsgroups, it is considered good etiquette that when
      you start a new thread, you start a new message. This means hitting
      "new" rather than "reply" to a message on the list. Your message has
      appeared as a follow-up to the message thread entitled:
      "[linux-dell-laptops] 2.4.22-ac4 compatible with acpi patch from
      sourcefroge?"

      I don't mean to sound terse, it just makes threads more difficult to
      read. It also buggers up the functionality of the web mail archives,
      which use threads to allow easy navigation for people trying to find
      answers in the archives.
