Hello Pere (and everyone else on the lists ;-),

[trying to get the D800 to suspend/resume via S3 (suspend-to-ram)
      sorry for cross-posting...]

Can you send me your kernel .config so I can compare with what I've been
      trying?

      Here: Latitude D800 gf4go, Pentium-M, WUXGA, 2.6.0-test6, acpi 20030916
(for -test5 but it applies cleanly to -test6), my own patched DSDT for
BIOS A04 (same patch as the one that's available for the D600), XFree86
      4.3 "nv" driver.

It suspends fine (blinking power LED), but when I resume I get no
display at all, regardless of whether I'm using X or the console. I
even tried a single-user shell (ie. practically no processes running)
from which I tried to launch an X after resuming, to see if the display
would come on, but no luck. It remains black.

Also, when suspending I made sure no USB (uhci-hcd and ehci-hcd) or
      ethernet (tg3) modules were loaded.

      Ahhh.... what patience it takes!!

      Thanks in advance,
      --

PS: syslog of a boot-suspend-resume cycle (it ends with Alt-SysRq-S,U,B)
in case someone would see something...

Sure, here it is. Please remember that this .config has aplied the acpi20030916 and the initrd dsdt patch.

About the usb modules: I've the same problem, but with vesafb at 0x317 I can resume the Xfree without problems.

        Best regards.
