a few things
1 - The following is a link to where x-config files for the 800 by
600 LCD version of Inspiron 3800 can be found. Sadly there is much support for this version.
2 - Next week there should be a doc about getting OpenBSD 2.8 working
on this system ( nothing related to linux, but for all of you that
want to "explore" here a nice chance too )
3 - The 3800 has the Maestro3 sound chip. Has anyone gotten the ALSA
drivers to work? Or the driver off of zabbo.net? i keep trying and
trying, but i must have some fault of mine, because none of them
work. If anyone has gotten them to work, would you mind posting the
steps you took to doing so?
Thank you for you time
have a have new year
PS: Sorry if you got this message twice, I don't think it worked the first time around. =(
