      Hi,

I had pcmcia working just fine under Mandrake 8.1 but ever since I upgraded to 8.2
I've been having nothing but problems. First pcmcia wasn't being loaded at
boot time. I ran chkconfig and fixed that but now I get all sorts of other
problems. Here is an excerpt from my log:

      .. and so on.

Once the machine is up and running I can get my card to work if I take it
out and then put it back into the machine. What the heck is going on here?
      Your help is greatly appreciated.

      Thanks,
      Alex
