You seem to like to do "educational" type programming. It occurred to me when using this program, that the format could be used for all types of subjects. For instance, I had thought of quizzing kids for animal types. You could call it "It's A Chicken!". You could still have levels of difficulty. You could ask, for instance, "What animal carries a comb on its head?". Of course, the answer could be a chicken, which you would display in the graphic window.
Just thought I'd pass that along; Like, you need more to do, right?
- I forgot to specify a file type. There was no output, and I received the
following error message (LB4.03):
"Runtime error: OS Error: The operation completed successfully."
"Where's the success in that," I wondered.
Sorry if I waste your time, but I hoped someone might share my chuckle. :)
I would have expected the following, which did come up when I corrupted the file
name on purpose:
"Runtime error: OS Error: The system cannot find the file specified."
Also, periodically I clear the error.log. If you don't, and you are as far from
perfect as I, it will grow to momentous proportion.
Added a line, "Error log cleared: ", and place the cursor at the end of
that, then press SHIFT+CTRL+END, then F5 (time and date), CTRL+S, and ALT+F4.
I considered writing a routine for that, but the key-presses are too easy.
