A copy of ‘Through the Looking Glass’ was bought on ebay this week. Dated 1872 it sold for £42! These coincidences keep on cropping up in LC land.

These coincidences keep on cropping up in LC land. Probably should look at all the Alice books that didn’t sell for £42!

        All,

Lewis Carroll is creating a lot of interest in Liverpool. The Tate exhibition has not lived up to expectations but The Liverpool Academy of Arts exhibition was excellent. Now we have a university project on way for the summer. Fitting perhaps as LC was born 180 years ago not far from Liverpool in the village of Daresbury where the new LC room will be opened in March.

Best wishes for 2012 to all,

        Keith
