AMERICAN RED CROSS
Lower Lobby (enter through box office)
Friday, June 27, 2014 | 12PM – 7PM
Summer is 100 days of high dives, ball games, and barbecues. It’s 100 ways to dress a burger, catch some shade, or get out of town. Every day this summer is a chance to give hope.
We invite you to choose June 27th as your day to come out and roll up your sleeve at the New York Islanders Draft Party Blood Drive at Nassau Coliseum from 12PM to 7PM. (Draft party begins at 5:30PM) Your donation will give hope to hospital patients so they can create summer memories.
During the summer months of June, July and August, on average, about two fewer donors give blood at every American Red Cross blood drive than hospital patients need. If at least two more donors gave blood at every Red Cross blood drive this summer–above what’s expected–patients would be better assured of having lifesaving blood products readily available to them.
Donating is quick and easy, and only takes about an hour of your time. Walk-ins are welcome, or to make your donation appointment, visit www.redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). Reference sponsor code ISLANDERS.
As a special thank you, all presenting donors will receive a Red Cross t-shirt, a voucher* for two (2) tickets to an Islanders home game during the 2014-15 regular season, a chance to win autographed Islanders memorabilia and MORE!
*Offers and items are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash. Ticket vouchers are for select games only. (Please visit www.newyorkislanders.com/redcross for available games. Redeemable at the Coliseum Box Office ONLY. Tickets subject to availability.
