Sadly, most men don't have many real friendships today. Growing up we learned to cover our physical nakedness, measure our words + guard our emotions, worry about what people might think, + build a FACADE that made us feel safe. Safe, yet SEEKING VALIDATION. Men need to bond with men + SHARPEN each other like iron sharpens iron.

Loving Each Other As Brothers is a DIVERSE community of Godly MEN earnestly pursuing PHILIA - brotherly love - as we discuss the deeper issues of LIFE + some sort of marriage between FAITH + our POST MODERN world. We have a HOLISTIC approach to the barren soul of a God-seeking man and his masculine heart.

We're GOD-SEEKING and/or Christian men growing into the men we were designed to be by giving + receiving encouragement to each other in an environment that fosters healthy biblical male friendships - the essential FUEL for the journey into BROTHERHOOD.

We don't give easy answers to the BIG ISSUES of life, tread the fine line between law + grace and between truth + love, dislike "fluffy" answers, cliches + Christianese, + strive to not seek so much to be be understood as to UNDERSTAND.

All guys have their "stuff" - from life's interpersonal struggles with careers, insecurities, boundaries, deeper friendships + relationships to struggles with faith + doubt + fears. We encourage VULNERABILITY + HONESTY + admit that we need real male friends + fellowship with believers + seekers in order to GROW.

The single + married men here are growing through INTELLECTUAL + ARTISTIC discussions of FAITH + PROGRESSIVE CULTURE including thought-provoking music. Ask about our CAMPING in Vancouver.
