- Hi all,
As Andrius wrote before, the workshop in Como last june was set to start
discussing about quality assessment of open content in education. That has
been just the first step to deal with such complex theme. Workshops of that
kind should be promoted everywhere, to gather ideas and suggestions to bring
to light the most important aspects about the meaning of 'open content in
education', especially addressing what can be said about 'quality'.
On behalf of the promoters group that organized the Como workshop, we are
considering the convenience of establishing an international association to
the above aims.
I have subscribed a few months ago, but i am sorry i have had not time to
contribute to the group. There are topics about 'open content' that i woudl
like to discuss. I will send you my considerations in the next few days.

- Hi Sayantan
Thank you for your email (offlist) It is good to hear from you. Please email the group to introduce yourself to us all (and please include how you found us).
You mentioned that you are reading "The Fortune at the bottom of the Pyramid"--C K Prahalad. I have read about some of the ideas, but have not read the book yet. Please tell us more about it - especially how relevant you find it not your own experiences and situation.
If anyone else has seen this book, please let us know, and give your impressions too.Pam
