(oops - meant to also forward this to LFEO)
Hi CotW friends and readers of my open letters at http://dadamac.posterous.com
See email below ref:
a new environmental pageant--the Miss Green Planet International Pageant- whose aim is to help develop local capacities to respond to climate change challenges.
The international pageant will be held for the for the first time in Chicago from Sept 24-Oct 1, 2011.
Being the first year, there are obviously bottlenecks in reaching out to varied communities and countries throughout the world.
I'm forwarding this to CotW because I see you as a clustering point for climate change initiatives.
also sharing it with my network through dadamac's posterous, because
that sharing is what Tegi is requesting (and because the request comes
to me from Andrius - because of my connection with him through Minciu
Sodas - and I continue to celebrate the amazing network and
relationships that he created there.)

I share your letter with some groups that might be interested, and also
with Anthony Diaz in Chicago who has experience organizing beauty pageants.
