Thanks Pam (and hope all went well Sat!!)/Rachel Met Graham!
- Dear Pam and All,Hello and thanks so much for your response! Rachel left yesterday (Sat) for home, but she did get to meet Graham!! And I believe she is bringing samples back to Kenya, as well as knowledge abt how to include solar (and DIY products) in her work.I hope you both will link up in cyberspace, and get to meet in person in the future! How did everything go for your chat yesterday? Huge congrats for such an invaluable project, and your own immense dedication and work to create and develop it (same for your colleagues, friends, and the teachers themselves)!I also want to thank you for voicing so eloquently something I have been struggling with too: keeping up with emails and discussions! I'm sure many of us feel the same way, and it is much appreciated that you bring the subject up in a forthright and caring manner. With all best wishes and blessings, Janet----- Original Message -----From: Pamela McLeanSent: Sunday, November 30, 2008 11:00 AMSubject: [holistichelping] Re: [learningfromeachother] Rachel Kung'u Would Like to Meet Members in London and BirminghamHi Rachel
I am in UK and know your name from the Pyramid of Peace.
I'm sorry I don't have any connections with youth groups so doubt if it would be of any use to you if we had a meeting. However, if you are interested in connecting up, please contact me off list and we will arrange something.
I hope you have an enjoyable adn productive visits to UK

Hello Dear Rachel and All,
My big apologies for not being able to respond to this note sooner! I am
ccing the ActALIVE forum, as we may have some members there who could meet
you (Katharine Low and Persy Jeyacheya), and Pam McLean at HH/LFEO (also an
ActALIVE member) is in the UK too. We do have another UK member, Lilian
Nabulima--a Ugandan sculptor--who is in Newcastle, I think. Where is that in
relation to you?
As far as youth groups, you are a GYCA member, and Nathalie Carter is the
Western European rep for the GYCA. She's in London, I believe, so I will cc
her. I could post to the GYCA forum too, depending on how long you have
left and whether you'd be interested in meeting more members there.
Are you also an IYPF member? And is there anyone in the other forums cc'd
(Holistic Helping, Learning From Each Other) who would like to meet
w/Rachel? How abt Graham Knight: that might be a great link to possible
solar-energy projects in Kenya.
I will send this now and be here to do any related networking in the next
few days. Would love to know more about your course, which should strengthen
your already extensive experience and expertise in the field of
With love and blessings, Janet.
