I am new to this group so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Alberto Mendez. I just recently moved to LA from Chicago where I worked for Towers Productions, which is one of the largest production companies in the Midwest. I am an award-winning Avid/FCP editor with over 100 hours of documentary and reality TV under my belt.
I decided to move to LA to try to make it in features or episodics. From what I hear, it's all about the contacts. Unfortunately, I don't know that many people in production out here. That is where you come in. If you have a project that needs a solid editor, please keep me in mind. If you would like to see my resume or samples of my work, you can visit www.cinematicut.com.
Thanks,
Alberto Mendez
