      The following are from cards we use for dinner time discussions, but also make great journal topics. If anyone has similar lists or links, I'd love to see them!

      Are you a messy person or a neat person? What are some advantages/disadvantages to that? Do you want it to change?


      When you have quiet time all to yourself, what is your favorite thing to do?


      What non-holiday do you think of as a special event?


      Think of people you like to visit. How do you feel when you visit them? What makes you feel that way? How can you make people feel that way when they visit you?


      Would you rather be very poor and have parents who loved you and each other, or be very wealthy and have parents who ignored you and fought with each other?


      Do you think boys or girls have it easier? Why?


      What is your favorite piece of clothing? Why do you like to wear it? Do you own some clothes you don’t like? How do you feel when you wear them?


      Did you ever decide you didn’t like someone when you first met them? What made you feel that way? Did you change your mind later?


      If your parents were worried about a serious problem, would you want them to tell you, or would you rather not know?


      Describe the best dream you have ever had.


      List three things you’ve never done that you think you could figure out on your own.
