Mr. Hermann Schöntag and the insolvency administrator, Dr. Steffen
Goede, of the law firm Rechtsanwälte Dr. Goede, Bergfeld, Waldherr &
Hussmann, have announced that Mr. Schöntag was unanimously selected as
the purchaser of the German model railway manufacturer E.P. Lehmann,
at the creditors meeting a few days ago.
Hermann Schöntag is the owner of the Rügen Kleinbahn
(www.rasender-roland.de) and was, until a few months ago, publisher of
Germanys largest railroad and model railroading magazine,
ModellEisenBahner. The announcement said that, given his outstanding
experience with both real railroads and model railroads, Mr. Schöntag
offers a wonderful opportunity for the success of Ernst Paul Lehmann
Patentwerk to the benefit of both its co-workers and customers.
At a factory meeting, the staff of Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk
unanimously backed the sale to Mr. Schöntag. The vote at the
creditors meeting also secures the future of the Nürnberg facility
