      Perl is a powerful and flexible programming language that is
      well suite for interactive web site development. The PostgreSQL
      database is considered by many experts to be the most advanced
      open source DBMS available. In this lecture I will demonstrate
      how to use these packages to create an interactive web site with
      a code walk through of a political campaign site.


      About the speaker:

      Matt Johnson started writing code in the 80's using dBase II on CP/M.
      He has been a linux user and developer since 1994. Matt is
      opening a school dedicated to Linux and open source technologies.
