      Subject: Linux developer search

We are starting an Internet company called Virtual
Ventures in Chatsworth, CA and are in need of an
excellent programmer/system architect to be part of
the company. This is a ground level opportunity and
would be an excellent venue for a hot shot to show off
their skills. I would like to develop on Linux but it
doesn't matter which flavor, I've got Slackware and
RedHat installed on partitions here at the house.
      Suggestions are always welcome ;)

We will be giving company equity to this person for
their work. I really am looking for a superstar to
bring us to production quickly! I've programmed in
Perl for over 2 years and have 10 years of computing
experience, I need someones expertise to complement my
knowledge and that also learns and a very high rate.

I won't divulge too much information now but I can
tell you that the software development goes much
further than just a shopping cart. There will need to
be a session manager, database connectivity, programs
that support failing over, multiple CGI based scripts,
etc. I'm not fully sold on any development software
as long as it is completely scalable, that is the key
as we anticipate hundreds of thousands of hits a day
      in full production.

Thank you for your time in advance, if you do not know
anyone directly that would fit this profile could you
please point me in the right direction.
