      > Hello Chain Reaction supporter.
      > Our time has come to save the Chain Reaction sculpture in Santa Monica. This Thursday, January 17th, the Santa Monica Arts Commission will be discussing the fate of Chain Reaction.
      > Thursday, Jan. 17th, 6:30 PM
      > Ken Edwards Center
      > 1527 4th St.
      > Santa Monica, CA 90401
      > 310-458-8300
      > Parking structure across 4th street
      > We have won some important decisions to date. Thanks to your help, Chain Reaction is now a Landmark. And completed studies show that Chain Reaction is structurally sound and needs nowhere near the amount of restoration that the city had originally guessed.
      > So now it is time for the city to re-evaluate the future of the sculpture and that starts with the Arts Commission. So please attend this meeting. Please sign up to talk. And please tell why you think that Chain Reaction is a valuable piece of art. Also tell the commission that the city should be doing all that it can to raise the needed funds to restore this timeless statement of peace.
      > * If you cannot attend, call and email the Cultural Affairs department of Santa Monica with your reasons why the Chain Reaction should remain in place for years to come:
      > Phone: 310-458-8350
      > Email: smarts@...
      > Thanks for all of your continued and anticipated help to save the Chain Reaction. Peace and Art are both worthy causes and this is a great example of both.
      > Sincerely yours,
      > The Conrad family
