      Election Fraud In HONDURAS
The Not-So Hidden Hand of the United States

An Eyewitness Report by LeiLani Dowell
A Member of the International Action Center Delegation to Honduras

      Sunday, December 15th - 2:00 PM
      At
The Harriet Tubman Center For Social Justice
      5278 W. PICO BLVD, LOS ANGELES 90029

Human rights observers from around the world traveled to Honduras in
November to monitor the country's national elections, as well
as to meet with the courageous resistance movement there. The people of
Honduras have been subjected to massive repression ever
since a U.S.-sponsored coup in 2009 ousted democratically elected President
Mel Zelaya. Yet in the face of increasing poverty,
militarism, and oppression, the movement continues to grow, build and
resist, and has vowed to never back down until victory.

Hear LeiLani Dowell, a member of the International Action Center Delegation
to Honduras, provide an eyewitness report on:

*The massive electoral fraud perpetuated by the right-wing oligarchy in
      Honduras.

*Meetings with campesinos who have been occupying their lands.

*A meeting with families whose loved ones died in a prison fire; and with a
representative of the LGBT movement in Honduras.

Dowell, a queer woman, first traveled to Honduras in 2009, as the coup
against Mel Zelaya was taking place.
She is a Managing Editor of Workers World Newspaper and has traveled on
      fact-finding delegations
throughout Latin America, reporting on her findings in the newspaper.
