      CALIFORNIA STATE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
      that the State Park and Recreation Commission, pursuant to authority
      contained in Sections 539, 5002.3, 5019.50, 5080.03, 5080.20, et al of
      the Public Resources Code, Section 11120 et seq. of the Government Code,
      and pursuant to law, will meet on Friday, June 10, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. in
      the California Building (Atrium) at the Los Angeles, River Center and
      Gardens, 570 West Avenue 26, in Los Angeles. The meeting facility is
      wheelchair accessible.

      Agenda items include consideration and action on Department of Parks
      and Recreation recommendations for two unclassified properties in Los
      Angeles: Cornfield Property - Approval of the Preliminary General Plan
      and Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR), and approval of the
      classification and naming of this property as Los Angeles State Historic
      Park; Taylor Yard Property- Approval of the Preliminary General Plan and
      Draft EIR, and approval of the classification and naming of this
      property as Rio De Los Angeles State Park.

      Copies of the Preliminary General Plans and Draft EIRs for these
      properties are available for public review at the following locations:
      Central Library, 630 W. Fifth St., Los Angeles; Edendale Library, 2011
      W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles; Chinatown Branch Library, 639 N. Hill St.,
      Los Angeles; Lincoln Heights Branch Library, 2530 Workman St., Los
      Angeles; Echo Park Branch Library, 1410 W. Temple St., Los Angeles;
      Cypress Park Library, 1150 Cypress Ave., Los Angeles; at the following
      California State Parks offices: Angeles District Headquarters, 1925 Las
      Virgenes Rd., Calabasas; Southern Service Center, 8885 Rio San Diego
      Dr., Suite 270, San Diego, and on the Internet at
      www.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=21312.

      The agenda will also include consideration of the following concession
      contracts for compatibility with the classification and general plans of
      their respective units: Lodging, food and beverage sales at Crystal Cove
      State Park, and operation of the conference grounds at Asilomar State
      Beach and Conference Grounds. The Commission will also consider the
      following concession proposals for the sale of alcoholic beverages for
      their consistency with Commission policy: Lodging, food and beverage
      sales at Crystal Cove State Park, and food, beverage and beachrelated
      items at the Calafia Beach Concession at San Clemente State Beach
      (operated by Orange County).

      NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the Commission will take part in a briefing
      on the Department's Cornfield and Taylor Yard proposals, to be
      conducted at various sites in the Los Angeles area on June 9, 2005. The
      briefing will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Los Angeles River Center and
      Gardens, 570 West Avenue 26, in Los Angeles. No public testimony will be
      heard and no action will be taken by the Commission during the
      briefing.

      NOTICE IS GIVEN that any person may file a statement regarding hearing
      items by writing to the address above or by presenting oral or written
      statements at the hearing at 9:30 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the
      matter may be heard. Inquiries or requests for information should be

      food, and beverage sales at Crystal Cove State Park- Food, beverage, and
      beach-related items at the Calafia Beach Concession (operatedby Orange
      County) at San Clemente State Beach
      6. Open Public Comment (on subjects other than the above agenda
      items).
